hiya loking for a groundforce makeover,I watch groundforce and love the amazing garden results they all produce. I'm 40 and disabled and desparately need help to restore my garden, please help
I would love aground force make over for my son, who was disabled in a football accident in 2003. Sadly we have to move home because the house is not big enough for a wheelchair. The new house is lovely but the garden needs adapting to meet Andys needs, he would love to be able to get round the garden in the summer, and i am looking for a phone number so i can get in touch with the gang to see if they could help, this is really important to us.
hello i would love very much for my friend shirley to have a makeover from ground force. She has always been there for me, without her i couldn't cope with my twins. I have artritis in my knee at 29 years old and this because i work for the army. Shirley had a mini heart attack at 37 years old and i would love to do something for her. we are very close and love our gardens. Thanks for understanding ..tracey
Hi all,
If you log onto the BBC gardening website and follow the links they might be looking for new gardens to makeover now but it is unlikely considering Charlie's recent loss... My heart goes out to her as I know she was very close to her Mum and it must be devistating to loose her (and her sister) under such circumstances.

Hi,
I know there are lots more people who need help with their garden but I just cannot do it by myself & I am a pensioner. If I knew whom I could trust I would pay but I do not have much money.
Thanks JOsie
HI , Like everyone else I am wondering how you can apply for a garden makeover. My partner built the house we live in but in 2000 he had an accident which left him needing 2 back operations - which weren't 100% successful, we have not been able to do any of the garden due to this and it really gets him down not having one. If there is anyway you can help please could you let me know
Thank you Nikki

We have recently errected a new fence, but the garden is in desparate need of help, and we have no ideal about gardening, but are willing to learn. Fed up of the neighbours, looking dowm their nose at our garden. PLEASE HELP - Hayley Cole XX

I am a single parent family with a 20yr old daughter at University. I work within Mental Health which can be quite stressful at times. I have to do everything myself and I would love somewhere to chill out.
The problem I have is next doors garage cuts into my garden and I dont know what to do to disguise it. Sue Rowe(St Helens, Merseyside)

Hi Ground Force Team................
Please please would you consider me for a garden make over.
I have recently moved into my new home and for the first time in my life I have a garden.
I watch your programme when ever it is on and I always think the ideas are so cool. I have ideas of my own but having never had a garden not too sure how to apply them.
The garden has been slabbed over with an empty pond hole and a demolished shed area. Really not very nice. both gardens next to me have really nice grass and flowers.
I have 2 dogs which really love the garden space but would be more at home with grass!!
Please help!!
i have the biggest challenge in my garden anyone want it, its even antique now
Hello, Please help me! my garden is a jungle, I bought my house 2 years ago by myself (my first house) and have bitten more than I can chew! My garden is about 100f long and maybe about 45 wide so as you can guess not easy for me alone, not to mention the fact that I am absolutely terrified of the creepy crawleys that come with a garden and as my garden has become somewhat way over grown I'm too scared to go out there (sad I know) Can you help? In desperate need of your help 'Enfiled London'
ive just moved into hall green birmingham, me and my three kids 8, 2, and 8 months. i would love to have a makeover from the ground force team. im not much of a gardener but ive dug off what i could and now im stuck, please consider us as its our first house and we still cant use our garden!! Sarah, birmingham.
Hello, help is needed as we currently have no garden. We have a hill which, although we live in the countryside, now has a motorway crash barrier at the top. This was due to a car careering over the top and almost crashing in to our house! We have just had our first child and would love a space to at least park the pram, and hide the crash barrier! Thanks, Sonya, Kilwinning
i have recently moved up from the city of nottingham to a tiny village pub in temple sowerby cumbria. it is a lovely village pub. we have recently had a by pass being built and this is starting to take away our passing trade, so a ground force make over on our beer garden would be a great help and help the smokers because due to the ban everyone has to now go outside and our beer garden is start to look shabby. please help
hello ground force. a little bit about my familly. we are based in northampton, we both work 7 days a week in northampton general hospital, my husband and myself have just bought the house and we are first time buyers. we have gone overdraft with our bank account and can not afford to put any more money in the garden due to debts.
the garden grass was grown way taller then I am. some how my husband has cut them down to find that there is no proper grass and nothing on same level. its just that we both work our heart out to meet two ends together. my husband likes gardening but there is no garden for him to do any gardening stuff.
i just want to give him a manageble garden where he can relax after work and see him do his veges. please ground force team, seriously need your kind help for my garden, i will be really thankfull for your help, please.
Hi Alan, Charlie and Tommy
I am now asking for your advice and skill in planning a large garden for a Care Home In Winchester. I have been fortunate to receive some government money to improve on the garden for the residents wellbeing and welfare. I thought about a Trim Trial (could be called the Jubilee Walk or Trial because we are celebrating our 60th anniversary this year), renovate the patio, have a raised senses garden, improve on the parking area just to name some of our ideas but I have the time to do the work, all needs to be complete by the end of the financial year.
Any chance of you all coming along to improve on the garden and just a spot of "ground force work". We are hoping to have an Open Day in September 07 as an inaugurial ceremony and to celebrate the homes 60th anniversary. The residents would love to have a garden as a show piece.

Hi there, I know you get tons of letters all the time however I am pleading for your help. i love your program and watch it all the time. I am the girlfriend of the family and am South African and my boyfriends mom has done so much for me, i keep coming and going and she always puts me up and feeds me as the South African rand is poor compared to the pound. Each time I come here to visit (I am in a long distance relationship) I keep expecting the patio to be complete but sadly due to funds it never is and the garden stays they same. Steve (my boyfriend) lives with his mother Julie, she is a single mom and is not too well off, they live in a council house with a huge garden. Julie works long hours with little pay and Steve helps as much as he can however he is trying to move on and build a future for himself and he is looking to study to gain a better job. They have a huge garden which has so much potential. I love cooking and am trying to grow herbs and tomatoes with no sucess i don't have green fingers. Julie so badly wants her patio completed and and a new bbq area, Steve tried to build one himself years ago. The house needs doing so the garden always gets put on hold. I wish i had the funds to build her a patio and bbq erea, a place to grow herbs and a fountain by the apply tree with a swing chair, for one to sit back and relax. She tries her best but it's too big for her and a patio would help cut it down. if you are able to help her I would be ever so grateful, I leave this Setember however even if I am not here her son will help with love. She is dear to me and I would love to make her dream come true. Ground Force team i beg you come see us. many thanks.

hi there ground force crew, i am absolutely desperate for help. my hubby works 6-7 days a week to provide for us and our 4 children. we moved into our house two years ago and we have never got around to doing the garden and now we dont know where to start, it is a mass of overgrown grass, weed, nettles and it is horrible. My kids have a big trampoline that they cant reall use because they cant go out in to our back garden. It is so bad that even you would probably struggle to find where to start. Our friends are always having bbqs but we cant cause of the state of it. I would love more than anything for my children to have a nice garden to play in and for us to have a nice patio area to sit in. we would like a seperate part to let our dog use that is seperate to ours for health reasons. it is so depressing every time i look out of the window and see it. it would be great to have an easy maintanence garden. without help i think we will probably try and burn it and then just try to get slabs for the whole of it. It is a big garden and has got potential somewhere. please please help us.thank you so much

Hi there Groundforce team...
My name is Darren, im 22 from Rainham in Kent.
And im in desperate help for something i have planned and i fear it is way too short notice for u to provide any help. My parents are going on holiday on Tuesday 21st August and are away for 2 weeks.
I started restoring their tired out garden a little over 4months ago to try and give my heavily disabled sister a safe and tranquil place to sit during the summer months yet making it accessible all year round and have decided it would be a nice surprise for them to get it done before they get home.
They have tried so hard to finish it but have only limited time to complete it because of looking after my sister and my dad working full-time.
I basically have to put up an annex which my sister can sit in when the weather is a little less forgiving, like a conservatory type area with bay doors leading into her bedroom which is on the ground floor, which involves removing a section of wall to allow the doors to fit.
after this, i need to tile the lower section of the garden which involves raising a manhole cover slightly and re-routing a drainage pipe and fitting a grate to allow water to escape.
also i need to render and paint a wall we have built to put in a slope for easy access for pushchairs etc,.
Now for the problems...
I have little left to do which is good but they are jobs i have never attempted and im reluctant to start not knowing what i am doing.
also i only work part time and have very limited funds to complete this project and having only 2 weeks as of tuesday 21st august i dont really have enough time to raise more funds.
My parents have no idea i was going to attempt this "finishing of my project" and as a result of this have no idea i have asked for help.
Thank you
Darren Fitzjohn From Kent.
