I am 59yrs of age, and like me my garden is looking very tired, overgrown and worn out! It needs a total make over,(like me!), the garden measures about 90' x 30' approx. (unlike me!), I have a large pond, which i want to keep, the rest is a mix of rough lawn, shrubs an odd, very large fir tree called "bear", a young walnut tree and lots of bits i have stuck in over the years. Can any one give me some low cost suggestions please? Other than dig the lot up and start again! Heres hoping, from Dian. Big Grin

i am 32 + a single mother of 2, we were offered the property december last year after being homeless for a year i loved the house but the garden has never been tended to which u would find out yourself if u looked at my property on google maps. the week after getting the house i broke my ankle and have pins in it now so would never be able to attempt to dig ought up especially as the garden is infested with rats, we would love to be able to use the garden summer next year as we had no chance this year, the council wont do anything they say its my problem but a few strapping lads would have difficulty tackling that, any suggestions please of any free help we could get anywhere plz plz plz
