Hi Alan
I have recently moved into a new house however nothing has been done to the garden. I would like something low maintenance therefore no grass!! however i love flowers & shrubs. I have tried to design something myself but I can't think of anything interesting. I have checked websites too but I just can't seem to find anything exciting. I was going to get most of the garden paved leaving areas available to plant. Please help, I am on a very tight budget. I have been through the 'Ground Force' magazines that I got but still nothing. Look forward to seeing you at Gardeners World Live in June, that's when i will be buying all my plants so I would like to get the garden preped first!!!

AngryMy name is Amelia and i moved into a new house in June of 2004, I have recently turfed my lawn i prepared it well and did all that was needed, But 7 months later after the rain and snow there is nothing but bumps all over and when i mow the lawn it straps over too hard and leaves mud patches, I spent a Fortune on the lawn and am not sure how to make it look better. Also my ground is awful its full of clay and rocks i did get most of it out and replaced with top soil so i dont think that this is the corse of the bumps. please please help
