I was watching tv when I too saw this advert but I don't think there was a telephone number, looking out on to 'the front garden' or jamanji as it is affectionately known I am too in desperate need of Tommy's help. If anyone could give me information that would be great. Thanks, Avril

The advert you are thinking of is for 'Challenge Tommy Walsh' on Discovery Home & Leisure. The application process is via an on-line form on the www.homeandleisure.co.uk web site which can be backed up with photos, videos etc. by post. This is not a garden makeover programme per se, but an indoor/outdoor DIY challenge which should involve Tommy & Team for four to five days and presumably should be interesting, unusual and instructive for DIY minded viewers. The emphasis is on practical DIY skills and 'Ground Force' it ain't!

Tommy any chance of your and Charlie meeting up at a Care Home In Winchester and doing a spot of Ground Force Work to improve of our extensive gardens. I have been fortunate to receive some government money to improve on the garden for the residents wellbeing and welfare.

We are hoping to have an Open Day in September 07 as an inaugurial ceremony and to celebrate the homes 60th anniversary. The residents would love to have a garden as a show piece.

Hia Tommy
my name is alexandra and my mum and dad love watching your programme. I saw that someone had mentioned you might be doing peoples gardens again for the show and i was wondering if i could get an application for my parents as a surprise. How do i go about this because i would love to do something to make them happy. For a while now they have wanted to brighten up our garden and make it a place where we could have people round and have fun. I am 17 and i have 1 sister and 2 brothers which my mum and dad have brought up and they have always sacrificed things for us and i want them to have something for themselves and i would love to see their face if we won and i suprised them. They love watching you and i think are a bit obsesed (haha) but they always say they wish you would do their garden. I would love to make them happy because i love them soo much and for my garden to look nice which i know you would do. Please get back to me so that i can apply and make their dreams come true! Thankyou sooooo much
Lot's of Love
Alexandra

Saw tommy doing a show whereby people had to lay vinyl flooring tiles and laminate flooring but they all struggled copying shapes around the architraves etc! As a carpenter there is a brand new British tool out there called the multiscribe tool..wwwmultiscribe.co.uk. Surely folk doing these programmes keep in touch with whats new in the marketplace? Anyway this thing does it all and can only help people when they are in a jam...just thought you needed to know! Confused
