Flower house

Flower house

Need somewhere to share romantic meals or shelter from a spring shower? How about an elegant summer house with a gothic feel like the Flower House made by Secret Gardens? Costing £7,200, this gorgeous design is made from aged cedar and hand-forged rusted iron tracery with a romantic flower chandelier and corbels. Alternatively, for fabulous all-wood designs made from English oak, contact The English Garden Carpentry Company.
Fairyland

Fairyland

No enchanted garden is complete without a sprite or two and thanks to sculptors such as David Goode, you can have any one of a number of different fairies, goblins and pixies. For example, The Ferry Man pictured left is made from bronze and costs from £6,000.

Magical sculpture comes in all different styles and sizes for all budgets and you will find a wide variety including spirits, frogs and toadstools at garden centres across the UK.
Cobwebs and dew

Cobwebs and dew

In her Crystal Cobweb Garden, Freya Lawson used cut glass crystals hanging on threads from a fence to create an illusion of cobwebs. To imitate the idea, you could hunt out cheap glass ornaments or earrings in second-hand shops or on Ebay, and string them from trees or shrubs using fishing line.

Other ideas for getting that magical garden feel include the ornate rusty metal trellis and benches from Secret Gardens, topiary and overgrown garden tools such as old iron rollers from Ebay or wooden wheelbarrows (£349) from Odd Limited.
