Step 4: Draw a scene
With a felt tip pen, draw a street scene onto the bottom portion of your pot. Start by drawing a straight line that will form your street and build up from there.
Step 5: Varnish
In a well ventilated area, seal your pot with spray varnish. This will protect the paint from grubby fingers that have been in the soil. Tip: Four or five coats of fine misting from a distance will work better than two coats that are sprayed too near to the pot.
