Just 76 x 18.5cm (30 x 7.25in), these propagators are designed to utilise any well-lit window sill for early start of seedlings & cuttings. This 13 Watt propagator is economical to run and individually adjustable ventilation allows you to create the ideal environment for propagation in each unit. The propagator comes in two variations: Super 7 - seven individual propagation units which allow great flexibility in the variety and number of individual seedlings and Trio Top - three individual units with clear covers and vents to allow three different environments.

Unheated propagators, £20

Great for: Low cost seed germination
For a budget system that won't provide direct heat but will ensure your seeds do get plenty of help at germination, you can purchase simple unheated plastic propagators that will warm up in the sun and hold the plants inside at a comfortable temperature.
One option is the seed tray pack available from Plantpak. This contains 2 sets of standard seed trays, 2 sets of seed tray inserts which help reduce waterlogging and 5 sets of standard plastic propagator lids that can turn seed trays into a warm haven for plants. Tray dimensions are 370 x 240 x 80mm (15 x 9.5 x 3in).

Galvanised propagator, £19.99

Great for: Style conscious gardeners
An excellent propagator that is not only good value for money but stylish too. Galvanised for rust resistance, it has glass windows and holds a standard seed tray. The galvanised propagator is unheated so may be used in combination with a heating mat or placed in sunlight to warm up. The perfect way to nurture those cherished seedlings.
