Sven Wombwell is a graduate of Capel Manor College of Horticultural & Countryside, where he gained a broad gardening and horticultural experience and specialised in the principles and practicalities of modern garden design.

Sven got his first big break in television when UKTV Gardens broadcaster UKTV offered him the opportunity to take part in a new programme it was creating - Garden ER. And we liked him so much that we sent him on to front new shows Weed It And Reap, Model Gardens and the popular Columbia Road Gardens.

Most recently, Sven co-presented BBC ONE's hugely popular Garden Invaders, as well as designed and co-presented on the second series of Garden ER for UKTV Gardens. Sven can also be seen appearing on the ITV show It Shouldn't Happen To A Makeover Show, alongside veteran telly gardeners Alan Titchmarsh and Charlie Dimmock.

Sven has also presented Garden Invaders for BBC ONE, as well as Weed It And Reap for UKTV Style. Sven is now UKTV Gardens' main landscape design star and has proved to be a firm favourite with UKTV Gardens' viewers!
