From the team that brought you the popular Water Gardens, comes a new and totally unmissable programme, Garden Highs - exclusive to UKTV Style. Over the course of the series, designers Mark Edwards and Chris Maton aim to add a new structure or feature to 15 existing gardens or outdoor spaces. And with a client base comprising families, couples and singles with very different ideas and aspirations, not to mention the various sizes, styles and locations of the gardens themselves, the team's skills, not to mention patience, will be tested to the limit!

Inspirational Locations

Having talked through the initial requirements with the homeowners themselves, Mark and Chris go off in search of inspiration, be it from rooftop restaurants, architectural buildings, forests, designers' showrooms or public and private gardens.

Once an idea has been decided upon, the design of the structure is then sketched out and discussed with the client to ensure that they are happy. The team then visits locations as varied as steel fabricators, glass foundries and stone yards to source the necessary materials. Designers or artists are also brought in as required.

Stylish Solutions

As the structure is completed, Chris and Mark add the finishing touches, selecting and implementing planting where needed and making sure all is perfect when the client sees the final result.

Fascinating to watch and providing a mine of indispensable advice, Garden Highs offers neither quick-fixes, nor 48-hour solutions, but carefully designed and stunningly realised creations that will last for years to come!
