Fred Dibnah’s Magnificent Monuments
The late great Fred Dibnah travels the country celebrating some of the country’s best-loved monuments.
In this series, new to UKTV Gardens, Fred starts his journey in Wiltshire by looking at some of the UK’s most prominent castles and forts.
He then moves on to houses and palaces including Hampton Court and Lacock Abbey; places of worship that include St Werburgh’s Church in Preston, Chester Cathedral and York Minster; and places of work including dockyards in Chatham, Armley Mills in Leeds and a tithe barn in Sussex.
