Geoff Hamilton's Paradise Gardens
Geoff Hamilton’s Paradise Gardens
For the first time, UKTV Gardens broadcasts the last full series made by gardening legend Geoff Hamilton before his untimely death in 1996.
For centuries gardens have been constructed and cared for to create that little bit of secluded paradise for their owners and keepers, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In Geoff Hamilton’s Paradise Gardens, Geoff gives budding gardeners everywhere hints and tips on how to create and plant a secluded garden – one person’s very own piece of paradise.
The series starts when Geoff visits a secluded haven in inner city Cardiff, a garden paradise created by an Oxfordshire couple, and a friar’s forest garden.
He then goes on to visit a Chelsea roof garden, lays a patio, plants a hazelnut tree, creates a willow arbour and looks at gardens designed for perfume and pleasure.
