America has got its fair share of modern urban spaces, so when the Ground Force team went pondside to set about transforming the grey to green, they faced plenty of challenges...
They set off with a list of neglected gardens desperately in need of some TLC, but all does not run smoothly - extreme weather conditions sometimes put a spanner in the works of even the best laid garden plans.
In Florida, the team tackle Marvin and Marion's back garden, while in Atlanta a downpour forces Charlie Dimmock to use pumps and bailers in an attempt to salvage a water feature in a couple's garden.
Other episodes see Charlie and Tommy Walsh perform a surprise makeover on gardens in Maryland. A dream garden for Jay Cameron is on the agenda, but when he returns early, the film crew are roped in to help.
Elsewhere, English nanny Louise Morris arranges a surprise for her employer Suzanne Lawrence, whose husband was killed on September 11th.
