At the age of four, Chris Beardshaw was already growing plants, trying everything from cress to sycamore. These days, he's The Flying Gardener, touring the UK in an Agusta 109 helicopter answering the nation's horticultural needs and visiting beautiful gardens and dramatic landscapes.
In his role as horticultural trouble-shooter, Chris helps ordinary people like ourselves get more out of our gardens. Providing expert advice on why certain plants thrive in certain conditions, he explains clearly what grows well where and why, and what you can and can't do in your garden. What's more, you'll get a spectacular bird's eye view of the beauty of the British countryside.
