Each episode, Sven and Michael visit a different property that, whether big or small, urban or rural, are all on the market but have so far failed to sell. The one thing they all have in common is the state of their front or back garden; some are derelict urban jungles, but many of them are just too 'individual' for a general buyer. In short, their homes are lacking 'Kerb Appeal', that all-important first impression a potential buyer gets when approaching a property.

Mass Appeal

Every week, our dynamic duo identify what aspect of a particular garden is letting the property down. It may be, for instance, that Michael earmarks the tiny, scrappy and threadbare front lawn. So, Sven vows to replace it with some stylish blue slate chips. Or what about that odd assortment of broken and chipped pots by the front door? Sven's answer is a large, blue-glazed urn, filled with fragrant herbs. The key in all cases is to de-clutter, streamline and give the garden mass appeal.
