Weed It & Reap
Weed It & Reap - Milngavie, Scotland 3
Poor drainage can be a tricky problem to solve, and can really make or break a garden. The Weed It & Reap team get to work on a boggy Erskine garden...
David Smith and his partner, Linda Scott have lived in the Erskine area for most of their lives. David is looking to sell the house that his son, Mark currently occupies. They have had the property valued but won't be putting it on the market immediately.
David purchased this terraced house in 1974 and was the first tenant. The housing estate was built as part of the Scottish Special Scheme by the local council. The aim of the scheme was to build homes for the overspill of people from Glasgow and to encourage people to commute. In the 1970s the residents were given the opportunity to buy their homes, which is when David bought the house. He paid £12,000 for the property and it is currently valued at £47,000.
Due to recent family difficulties, David and Linda have not had the time to concentrate on the garden. The main problem is poor drainage which the couple are not sure how to tackle, so any help from Weed It & Reap would be a weight off their minds.
