Ian and Jill have been in their current property for two and a half years. They are planning to marry in July and feel it is time for a fresh start and a move to a bigger property somewhere in the Bearsden area. They are planning to put their house on the market in May.

Jill and Ian live in a three bedroom detached house, which was built around 1989. They bought the property in 2000 for £100,000 and though it has not been valued recently the couple have done considerable work to the interior so hope to make a substantial profit. The average property price in Milngavie is around £114,300.

Since moving into their house, Ian and Jill have attempted to change the layout of the garden but have not had much success. The previous occupants had planted 14 trees randomly across the garden. Ian felt they were blocking out the sunlight and view of Glasgow and so hired a chainsaw to cut them down. Unfortunately he was not as successful as he hoped and has now been left with a real mess of trees stumps and branches all over the garden!
