Laura and Ian live in a two-bedroom detached house in Prestwick, Scotland. The couple have dreams of moving to Greece one day as they love the Mediterranean but are not sure if they are quite brave enough yet! They are currently looking for a bigger house as they find their present one a bit cramped and they plan to put their house on the market as soon as they find somewhere else they'd like to move to.

Laura and Ian were attracted to the property's distinct character and location. It is an 1880's lodge house, with a view onto the local golf course and the back facing onto the beach, although the beach view is blocked by the neighbour's hedges. They had the house valued two years ago at £110,000 although they do expect to get more for the property now.

The couple bought some land from their next door neighbour with the intention of renovating their garden. But since having bought the land they have not had the time or energy to make any changes. Ian would like to make a feature of the rowing boat and Laura would love to have a taste of the Mediterranean in her garden.
