Nature's Calendar
Nature's Calendar
This series explores some of the UK's most stunning natural beauty spots for wildlife watching.
Nature's Calendar provides a seasonal look at the very best of what the UK countryside has to offer - from islands, woodlands and estates to meadows, wetlands and coastal areas. Shot in beautiful locations around the country, it offers viewers inside tips on where to go to spot some of the most rare and interesting animals, birds, trees and flowers across the UK.
In the first outing of the series - with a winter theme - there's wildlife watching in the Cairngorms and Glenlivet in Scotland, red deer observation on Exmoor and a closer look at the mountain goats of Snowdonia.
Other episodes in the series feature otters at Druridge Bay, Northumberland, whooper swans and grey herons at Lough Neagh, and kingfishers and shrews at Lemsford Springs.
