Ann-Marie Powell is what you might call a 'proper gardener'. She qualified in landscape studies and garden design from London's Capel Manor and has made her mark as the presenter of Real Gardens, Garden Rivals and A Garden For All Seasons.

As the host of Robot Wars Live, Andy Collins most certainly isn't, but his sense of humour and charisma mean we love him anyway and together with Ann, he's one half of terrific team who put the spotlight on some of Britain's most outrageous garden bunglers.

Among their challenges are fitness fanatic Stephen Davies who wants to repair his girlfriend's garden in South Wales, Peter and Maureen Bowkett, whose garden was wrecked after they swapped houses with their daughter, and Wendy and Nigel from Nottingham, who'd like to have a vegetable patch in the space presently taken up with brambles.
