Six of the Best Lavenders
Whether you want a gorgeous hedge of blue, mauve, pink or white flowers or just a lovely scent wafting across your patio, lavender is the perfect answer. And best of all, it is fairly easy going, as plants go, needing only well-drained alkaline soil and plenty of sunshine.Remember to cut back well after flowering – at least to leaf level – to maintain a compact and tidy bush.
