Six of the Best Marguerites
With their cheery daisy-flowered heads, marguerites are a classic English garden flower. Flowering prolifically from spring to early winter, these plants can be left to themselves to form a shrubby bush dotted with colour, or carefully shaped to create topiary flowers. Cut them and bring them indoors, or just leave the flowers untouched for the whole family - and butterflies - to enjoy. This feature was published in March 2006.
