We are all eagerly awaiting the new series which is supposed to be starting quite soon, but not this coming week, as I have checked the schedules. I must try the Chicken Boullabaise that she made earlier today, it looked really scrummy!

The BEST programme on the channel I love her food. They should buy up everything she's ever done.

Nooooooooooooo! Betty Crocker?!?!?! Have you no standards!

Oh Adrian, I have always been very happy with the Betty Crocker stuff, you will need to do some convincing here with your brand. So if you have any samples flying around, you know where I am!!
But the price of Rowse's pure maple syrup has gone sky high! Still, it's worth it, a little of what you fancy.........goes straight to the waistband!!

Now I can definitely help with the pancake mix and syrup! A little more expensive than the supermarkets, but the difference in taste is huge. (Most of our food goes to Americans that now live here so they know the brands already - and not the cheap nasty stuff like Betty Crocker - urgh!).

Hi Adrian, I'm up to my ears in ceramic Christmas tree and light-up ceramic penguins, they're gorgeous! But have been doing Christmas items since March!! Not complaining though, but certainly will be ready for a glass (or two ), of the red stuff come 6 o'clock tonight. I will be firing my kiln tonight, so it will be a late one by the time the kiln switches off around 1.30 am
I could do with some pancake mix and some real maple syrup!!! aaahhhhhhhh! Scrummy!

I'm up to my ears in flour, sanding sugar and cookie cutters for Halloween at the moment. We've had the magazines round in the shop today doing a photoshoot for the new stuff. (The cake flour sold out within half an hour! Happy Days!).

There hasn't been anything on Good food channel worth watching. All repeats. In fact on normal tv lately it's been pretty good. We had Rick doing the Far East and Nigel is back on BBC. And then there's that annoying talking person that says bro all the time Jamie. Don't have a problem with him as a person but he always talks in a annoying way either Mockie or now a hoodie with 'bro' every 5mins!


That's my rant on Jamie's talking over with....


I still have a wedding to plan for....it seems far a way at the moment but I know things come around quickly.

Hello everyone!


Been absent for a while- wedding planning got more hectic than I could ever have imagined! The wedding was this past Saturday, and it was the most perfect day ever- the sun put in a special guest appearance and it was beautifully warm and sunny all day. Still getting used to the idea of calling myself a Mrs!


Haven't had chance to watch Good Food at all recently but v. pleased to hear that Barefoot Contessa is back soon! I've definitely missed it- my recipe repertoire has ground to a halt since she's been off-air!

Hello everyone...it's been a while since I popped in to see how it was going?

Hi Homelovingirl, don't over do it...don't forget the glass of wine at 6.30pm!

To be perfectly honest I didn't actually know about it until the girls from Stonewall Kitchen phoned and told me as I've been busy sorting out stuff for the shop. I'm like a kid at Christmas at the moment as in about 3 hours I have a large container of goodies arriving from American Airlines with LOADS of new stuff like King Arthur Flour and proper maple sugar etc. I'm so easily pleased!

Hi Adrian, oh that's wonderful, I didn't hear anything about that, but I'm really looking forward to seeing her back on our screens next month. Let's hope she shows us some new exciting recipes and ways to cook! Take care!

Hi Azelia, how are you, hope you're still out there? I have been so busy with work that I haven't been on recently, however, I see we have some "old faces" back again. We weren't try to intimidate you, only sticking up for Ina and her programmes, AdrianB was kind enough to let us know that Barefoot will be back on the 5th October, can't wait!
