Hi ppl

Could someone tell me if you can eat dried mushrooms when they have been soaked?

That is what I was thinking Mrs Woof Woof,

I can't actually think of a reason they can't be eaten once soaked but not cooked. But I think they be not be very pleasant as rehydrating them doesn't seem to make them the same texture as fresh IMHO. I think they would be very chewy.

Not quite sure what you mean bigdov1. The whole idea of rehydrating them is so that you can eat them. Or are you talking about eating them uncooked once rehydrated?
