No not yet. Going to do the crumble next sat for friends coming to dinner! The pie did look great!

i,ve made that pie with some left over chicken from xmas,but i put mashed potato on top it tasted great,have you made it yet susan.

Oh great glad you got it, i've wrote it down but saves me tying it all out!

Hope it turns out lovely. I think i will try it myself soon. I've been spending the morning trying to do candied oranges to go in a recipe i'm doing. Bit tricky! ha.

Hi, does anyone know where I can find the last 2 recipes from Rachel's Big Family Get Together show please. I am after chicken pie with ham peas and puff pastry, and the toffee apple and almond crumble. They were on bbc2 on sat 11th Jan 09.
I have looked in all the bookes and even called the bbc, with no Joy. I am hoping for a book on this series will follow soon. But I have already told my friends I was making the crumble but can't unless I can get the recipe! Thanks Regards Susie

I would like to thank Rachel for her "simple to follow" recipes,as someone who sadly lost his wife and supercook it is great to be able to learn how to cook things from scratch and I find her teachings on cooking so simple to follow.
I have a lot to learn yet Rachel so please get back to work as soon as possible.
