Hi. Yes it was a one hour show just about Ina - her childhood, growing up, history of the shop, everything. (It was on +1 when I emailed which is why you may have missed it).
Azelia - it keeps blocking the link but just put Redwood Bay into Google and we're the first thing that comes up. Hope you like it!

Hi Adrian, was the chefography devoted to Ina? By the time I found the programme it was a chef that I'd never seen or heard of before.
Anyway, will keep watching for Ina's new series Smile Smile

Hi Azelia, how are you doing? My message should have said Christmas tree "or" penguin light, not on, I'm sorry about the mistake, I need to get these glasses sorted! Hug
It was good to see Mary Berry on MK yesterday, those scones looked great.........jam, clotted cream!!! Ahhhhhhhh! Big Grin

Hello all! Been ages since I posted in this thread- post-wedding calm ruined by weeks of ear infections and sinusitis! Cry

I haven't watched Good Food in ages- got annoyed with Market Kitchen and their fake-repeat summer series, there was no Ina and as much as I love Rick Stein, the same series x10 got a bit much! Someone mentioned his Far Eastern Odyssey a bit further down- I LOVED that! Have the book and have cooked some recipes from it- all turn out so well and so yummy. He is just lovely to watch!

I must be very behind as well because I only just found Food Network- double episodes of Barefoot Contessa! Yay! Apparently her 'Chefology' is on later today as well...

Can't wait to see a new series of BC over here. I've not been cooking much at all lately having been so sick, or what I have done has been a bit same-old- I need new inspiration, and she's usually the best place to get it from!

Hope everyone is well Smile

Sorry, not sure - been snowed under in the shop. However, just stumbled across The Food Network on my Sky box channel 262 which I never noticed before. Or am I a bit behind on that one?

Hi Wendy, welcome to the Ina Garten Fanclub!! Big Grin
We are all eagerly awaiting the new series which is supposed to be starting quite soon, but not this coming week, as I have checked the schedules. I must try the Chicken Boullabaise that she made earlier today, it looked really scrummy!
Not sure I've spelt that correctly Roll Eyes
AdrianB do you have any more news on the new series? Hug

Oh Adrian, I have always been very happy with the Betty Crocker stuff, you will need to do some convincing here with your brand. So if you have any samples flying around, you know where I am!! Big Grin
But the price of Rowse's pure maple syrup has gone sky high! Still, it's worth it, a little of what you fancy.........goes straight to the waistband!! Big Grin

Now I can definitely help with the pancake mix and syrup! A little more expensive than the supermarkets, but the difference in taste is huge. (Most of our food goes to Americans that now live here so they know the brands already - and not the cheap nasty stuff like Betty Crocker - urgh!). Blurgh

Hi Adrian, I'm up to my ears in ceramic Christmas tree and light-up ceramic penguins, they're gorgeous! But have been doing Christmas items since March!! Not complaining though, but certainly will be ready for a glass (or two Big Grin), of the red stuff come 6 o'clock tonight. I will be firing my kiln tonight, so it will be a late one by the time the kiln switches off around 1.30 am Mad
I could do with some pancake mix and some real maple syrup!!! aaahhhhhhhh! Scrummy!

Are you sure you haven't started on the wine a bit too early!!!?
I'm up to my ears in flour, sanding sugar and cookie cutters for Halloween at the moment. We've had the magazines round in the shop today doing a photoshoot for the new stuff. (The cake flour sold out within half an hour! Happy Days!). Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Hi Adrian,
I've got this slightly wrong, I've just looked back and you said Oct/Nov for 5 weeks......so that's why I can't see Ina on the listings. Still, I've now got the wine and Ina to look forward to!
Big Grin Hope all is well with you!

AdrianB44115

Hi HLG. Did I really say today? I know it's Oct/Nov for 5 weeks but I don't know what day that starts from, sorry. Don't waste the wine though - I'll pop round for a glass later! Smile

Message for AdrianB,

Hope all is well with you
