Costa del Sol Restaurants

Thread Starter: dave the chef    Started: Wed 23 Apr 2008    Replies: 2

There are some great places to eat out here on the Costa del Sol and i have been cooking out here since i moved over 5 years ago.

My advice is to ask expats or locals because some places my not be well known but there is a real love of quality fresh ingredients out here.

A good place to look is www.yourmenupages.com
It is a new guide that has just been launched ready for the summer and my restaurant has been reviewed and listed which was nice.

Hi Dave, I live on CDS and you are right, there are some fabulous restaurants. And you don't have to pay fortune to get a great meal. Before I go to a restaurant I look how busy it is and if it is busy you know that the food is good.
I had a quick look at the web site and it looks OK. Which town is your restaurant in? And you are so right, there are a lot of good fresh ingredients here. Especially fish.
Hi Jan, I suppose you are in Estepona now and I am very sorry for the weather. It is the worst May we had for a long time now. Hope you have enjoyed your stay there despite the weather.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the info. I have just bought a place in Estepona and will be going there for the first time in a few weeks. I loked at the website and clearly it's early days, but it seems to me that much more could be done to make it easier to navigate. However, it's good to know where to look and perhaps more detail will be added in the coming weeks/months.

regards
jan
