Food tongs

Thread Starter: Does the cooking    Started: Mon 09 Apr 2007    Replies: 2

I want to buy a pair of cheap plastic food tongs. I've tried every where in Liverpool city centre.

(I refused to buy the only pair I saw £8 with Jamie Oliver's name on them. I am irritated by this increasingly common practice)

Any one know a cheap source? Thanks

I would advise nylon as opposed to plastic, so they can be used for hot as well as cold. Saw some in my local supermarket the other day. About £1.99.
Or any hardware shop should be able to help.

You may be put off by postage costs if you're buying on-line unless you're ordering a few other bits at the same time.
