I also agree that this recipe should be removed, I think AWT should offer a substitute seasoning as we can get 100's of burger recipes on the internet which all taste the same, sadly his recipe is no different to any on the others, I should know I have tried them. AWT if your burgers are diffrent then we need proof and not a load of hot air. Shame on you. :(

This 'recipe' should be removed in my honest opinon as it bears no use to anyone at all by witholding the 'secret spices'. You may as well let Colonel Sanders relatives put up the recipe for KFC Chicken coating but only say a secret blend of herbs & spices.
As already mentioned, everybody knows that burgers are mainly minced meat.

AWT should be ashamed of himself especially if this is in one of his cook books as well witholding the vital information.

The market in Spain where AWT buys his spices is an indoor food market in Fuengirola. I am planning to go to that market soon so I will have a look at that spice stall and will let you know If I'll find out anything.

I remember when this episode was on the tv, and, I don't know if it was on the same programme, but the reason that AWT won't give the recipe away, is because he doesn't actually put the 50 spices together himself. He buys them in bulk from a market in Spain! where he has a villa, as shown on the programme. (He also bought all the chilli's that hang in one of his restaurants from the same market stall). So he probably doesn't know what all the spices are in the burgers anyway.

I remember watching this on t.v. and Antony made his burgers in the middle of the night when no one was watching, but he also said that there was at least 30 different spices in his mix, you tell me who in gods name is going to work out that even if he gave out half of the recipe. OK he makes a living and brags about his burgers but at the end of the day if you are no-where near 1 of his restaurants its him that is missing out, so i say let him be selfish. So yes i also think whats the point of showing an under-cooked recipe.
