Coeliac

Angry My partner and I watch your show as often as we can, at least 3 times a week, however, we never hear the chef comment up front as to whether or not the recipe about to be cooked is OK for the growing numbers of confirmed Coeliacs. This "community" struggles to find new ideas, eateries etc etc and surely there is room for a segment or an entire show for these poor buggers. I am one too, so please do not take offence to that last comment. We appreciate the fact that your search engine shows thousands of recipes for the Coeliac community but the public awareness is where we see a real benefit to both parties as the attraction of dining out again may become a reality formally experienced.
Thanks for taking the time to read the gripe but hopefully you can help!! Wink

Does the cooking

I lived in Sydney and while you gloat it gets really hot and humid as well Tongue
I like the cold and the cool as well.

I must say I miss the food of Sydney. The quality in shops here is very poor. Supermarkets in UK have too much power and a lot to answer for. To get food that is the quality of the average cafef/restaurent you have to pay mega bucks here.

Our local restaurant - The Lobster Pot in Hale, Farnham, indicates on the menu which options are suitable for Coeliac Disease sufferers and also invites the customer to tell their waiter/ess if they have any allergies that the kitchen should be aware of.
