Preserving chillies

Just open freeze and put them into plastic bags. They will keep for ages.
I take one out, grate or chop off what I need then pop it back in the freezer.
I must admit I only use them for cooked dishes. If I want to sprinkle chilli over a salad or in a dip I usually buy fresh.
