Unable to get in village is there an alternative?
Whats the difference between that and liquid glycerine please. I am making fudge (leiths cookery bible)

I think you could just use a stock syrup - equal quantities (g:ml) of sugar and water, dissolved in a pan over heat. Or maybe golden syrup, as this is fudge. Glycerine is something totally different, basically just a chemical.
