NEW BLOOD!!

Thread Starter: springer2    Started: Thu 06 Jul 2006    Replies: 18

UKTV food needs some new blood, dont you think?
As much as I love Nigella and Rick Stein I dont think I can watch another repeat.
GFL and food uncut are the only 2 programmes that are fresh and non repetative.
And please no more Florida Fatbusters just some new series of Nigella, Rick, Nigel slater, Rhodes or maybe would love some new Rick Stein food heroes.
What you guys think?

Hi Mo, i am trying to picture his face, he will probably be on there again soon if he is that good eh. My step-son is a vegetarian and my wife sometimes finds it hard to cook something new for him, she done a ramiro pepper last sunday with cous-cous and different herbs from my own garden and he had it and thought it was very nice. Does anybody out there know if there are any good websites that are specifically for veggies ???? Tongue

SuesdM the other chef on the show yesterday was Eadie Manson. He's not Irish, I think he's from Fife. It's great to see GFL back on again!

When does good food live come back on air ? it must be soon. I think that we do need more class 1 chefs cos` the others are getting very repeditive. I am glad that they are showing the "Two Fat Ladies" again cos` i think that is interesting and funny as well but bring back Jenny Barnet and friends !!! what do you all say ????? Develish

I agree, it's quite boring now that Great Food Live is also on hols. Everything is repeated. We need new chef programmes on uktvfood!

I know what you mean abby, she probably is a very good cook but she does not inspire anyone to go out and cook something she cooks. Apologies to Mr cornetto but as you say, the scotish scenery is very beautiful. At the moment i am in the midst of watching "masterchef goes large" ( another repeat eh people, i likew the guy with receeding hairline but the other guy reminds me of Simon Cowell, cruel, abrupt, nasty at times and dead cocky!! well thats my opinion anyway, anyone agree ?? I never said that! Big Grin She can obviously cook, and so can I! Wink To be honest, her recipes don't inspire me and neither does she.

Not my cup of tea. Smile

Good afternoon Lil'Abby, I didn't see it before, as now they have shown it at 5.30p.m. I thought she explains everything in detail! They show a bit of Scotland as well.

Well hardly new cornetto. These are repeats - they were shown a few months back. Frown

Doesn't 'float my boat' at all though. A bit boring for me.
