Do you think it would be ok to use creme fraiche instead of cream in this recipe. If so, should I mix it with milk first. Many thanks

Use equal amounts of full fat milk( a little more if needed to top the dish up) to creme fraiche.Layer up with your normal ingredients and creme fraiche and add the milk at the end. Do-not mix it with the milk.

hello
You can use milk only if you want to. It is usually what I do so I would guess that mixing creme fraiche and milk should be no problem whasoever.
