Must tell you about the sandwich I have just had after getting in from an afternoon in the pub.

Opening the fridge I found suplies low ie Smoked middle bacon, butter and a jar of marmalade.

What a great sandwich one of the best I have had. A bacon and marmalade sandwich, Wicked!

hello rosti, light and banana and everyone else who pops in Big Grin

light, glad to hear chicken nugget is not destined yet for the table, and shes doing the business Smile i have a veggie plot in my garden but..........not tended it since i saw a eight legged freak take up residence on the tomatoes arrrgghhhh Eek i wish i could be a better gardener Frown

i am sorry but talking about killing your own animals, i couldn't do that, but i can boil a crab/lobster/crayfish alive, don't know why i feel that, but it poses no problems for me, maybe its cos i know its extremely fresh same with mussels and other types of shell fish, you are not going to eat dead mussels are you? cos they are poison when dead Blurgh

have a lovely evening every one Big Grin

Now you have me worried Banana!
An apology and an agreement all in the space of 10 mins.

Hi Rosti hope you are keeping well. Things are going Ok here in deepest Norfolk, my hens are doing well Nugget is laying the odd egg or two. Like an idiot I watched Hugh Fernally Whittingstalls new prog the other day and now I'm even more determined to one day own my own farm.

Well at least we sorted that one then.

I envy Light his life now, ok I know it's gonna be hard work, cold and everything else, but I would love it.

Used to have a massive garden with organic veggie patch and loads of fruit trees, bushes and plants. Fantastic.

Wouldn't have animals though, ok maybe chickens for eggs, a goat for some milk, but I would never kill an animal for food, especially not one I had named. Maybe a large pond or lake for some fish, somehow I feel differently about fish.

You are right, I am wrong. The tree is the herb.

Best of luck Light.

Hi Light, highlight of Sunday so far! Develish

Light

A few points to see you in good stead Banana.....

1 I have not gone yet!

2 I think you will find the tree itself is the herb, actually the biggest herb in the world, but the fruit my old chap ie the bunches of green things that you eat when they have turned yellow are fruit.
I hope this clears things up for you.
How is your Sunday going Banana?

Sun 30 Oct 2005, 3.53PM

Rosti

The tree is considered the herb-like plant, the fruit of which is the banana as we know it.

I apologise if I got your parent-plant rather than offspring status incorrect.

Light is certainly doing the right thing by his smallholding and contents, but will be missed here. Nice you took the time to look.

A banana, I think you will find is technically a herb, not a fruit but for obvious reasons falls into the fruit catagory.

I see Light has decided to do the right thing.

My Sunday is a little hectic in some ways, hope yours is going well too.

Yes, I can see how a good stake would be useful for Halloween, in Wigan or anywhere, and in, or not in a barmcake. Big Grin

Well keggsie if you find my posts so boring then why bother to enquire why I waste my silly little life. Also I will take the "tearing people apart" as a compliment.

What do I do? Judging from the structure of your paragraph, punctuation errors and reverse grammer, I doubt you would understand.

55%Banana - I think you are the saddest of us all - I rarely post responses but felt inclined to do so after reading your incredibly boring replies - what exactly do YOU do - apart from waste your silly little life tearing people apart - I'm seriously very interested.
