no i made vegetarian stuffed peppers and homemade bread rolls, got a veggie 17 year old student at the moment thought she might eat fish, but she doesn't!!! she did say she'll try things but i don't want to waste things cos crab is expensive, but the good news is she is going to make me and OH a meal this saturday Big Grin now that'll be a challenge lol. but i have a sneaky feeling that sunday we are going to be eating this crab linguine, cos i really fancy it and sarah (student) is out all day Wink

Ahhh I see what Nigella means now, from reading the recipe on a different site as well. The undressed crab should weigh 1.25kg, once dressed it should give you about 300g of meat.

What is wrong with dressed crab Tina, it only means the hard work has been done for you. The meat taken out of the shell and claws, the undesirable stuff removed then the white and brown meat put back in the main part of the shell. Nothing else.

my jolly was absoloutley fabulous still wanna be there i put 6lbs on lol, the food was available 24 hours so was the booze Big Grin one happy bunny kassey Big Grin

kassey can you use tinned crab, cos its really hard for me to get fresh crab, the only fresh crab my "local trader" (blame jeni lol) does is dressed crab amd i can only get white meat in a tin Confused

this sounds like a meal right up my street Big Grin

Hi Vic , Iv made this many times its yummy, I also use tinned tuna instead of crab and corriander instead of parsly, very tasty Smile
