Its funny isnt it the way different parts of the country have different names for meat...when I lived up north I would buy a bacon shank to make soup but when I moved further south I asked for a shank
and found out its a hock

It can be but it depends what part of the country you are in.
Here in the N>E. if I asked for pork fillet they would give me the top part of a leg of pork,perhaps fillet of pork would get me the tenderloin ahhhh.
