It's true, I've just asked him and a couple of his colleagues, steak and kidney it was. Then when the pie eater had gone, his colleagues said he'll eat anything that's lying around.

He didn't tell me himself, it's just a well known fact that he did it. He has worked here for 50 years and the building is 200 years old so it wouldn't surprise me if there was a 20 year old pie lying around. Next time I see him I'll ask him about it... I wonder what flavour it was.
