I have recently been given a Gaggia Icecream maker as a birthday present but I have not been very successful making icecream. I don't know what I ma doing wrong but the paddle freezes and stops going around before the icecream is set. Please can any one help

The poorly written instructions do say that the paddles will stop when either the timer has run down or the required maximum consistency has been achieved.I used mine for the 1st time today with excellent results!

Hi WendyR ,I do them same as Lucy make sure the paddle is turning befor you put in the mixture hope this helps .

I always overcome this by using a funnle, I set the paddle off and using the funnle I pour the iceceram mix into the bowl through the hole at the top.
Not sure if all icecream makers are the same but it works for me
