Well I haven't got an AWT juicer but I bought a new kettle recently and really didn't want stainless steel. I know they look great when all polished up, but with a family who really don't worry about the shiney, pretty surface, I just couldn't face the drips and the "filling up" splashes every time I looked. So, I went for AWTs kettle because it is silver grey and black and did all the boiling techniques required of it. Well it only lasted a couple of months before the on/off button broke off.

I also bought the matching toaster. That works fine if you like your bread toasted on the bottom half only. It actually boasted about being a "deep" slot toaster.



But having never had anything before or after, I can't say about the juicer but just felt a bit let down by spending sixty or seventy pounds on stuff to line a skip with.

Hope you experience is a better one.

Lets hope third time lucky! All I said is that if you scroll back there is lots of good helpful information on these boards about juicers and I really enjoyed reading them all before deciding to invest. Some folk even said they regretted buying one and hardly used the machine and others query the value of the fibre/vitamin content of the produce once it has been juiced.

Thne I saw a TV programme using six different machines putting through the same quantity of produce and measuring the volume of juice you ended up with. The difference was amazing. I bought the one that came out tops in this test from UK.juicers.co.uk - L'Equip 110.5 which is within your price range and has a six year manufacturer's warranty.

I dislike citrus fruits juiced through it, even when strained, because of the bitter peel and although easy to clean it is a pain. Neither does it take whole apples as some do but this is not problem to me. It is smaller and neater than some models but has a powerful motor and looks attractive out on the worksurface. Have no knowledge of the AWT machine which I am sure is good.

Hi lovegrub I have the AWT juicer and must say it is a very good juicer but I do find it hard to keep clean as the main blade in the middle cannot go in the dishwasher, so all I can say is bear this in mind if you only juice small amouts every day there are a lot of bits to clean.
