Fordy what did he use? live in Italy & I'm interested, my mum-in-law doesn't use garlic also, she uses, beef & pork mince, carrot, celery,sometimes peas, tomatoes,nutmeg, a little onion, milk & white wine plus some beef stock. I've never seen a 'ragu'(Bolognese sauce in Italian) containing peppers, mushrooms etc...

Antonio himself was on TV the other day making bolog sauce! What a strange way he made it. Did anyone else see the programme?, if so what did you think? I have tried it his way and it is beautiful but still thought it odd, especially not adding garlic!

don't forget to have something to eat while you are there, it is my big treat when I go there yummy
