Making "cheesecake" from packet jellies

Thread Starter: sarahg    Started: Fri 10 Sep 2004    Replies: 5

Another lost recipe from the back of a box of packet jelly. Think you made up the jelly as usual and then added either double cream or cream cheese ... cannot remember. When left in the fridge, it set to a sort of "cheesecake" texture. Anyone know what I am on about??

how about this one chill a can of evapourated milk then pour into a bowl and whisk untill very stiff add disolved jelly you can use this as a sort of toppng for a cheese cake...or make a proper one the easy way put small carton of plain cottage cheese into the processor grind untill fine or really until smooth add sugar and lemon juice to taste then add whipped double cream (make sure the double cream is not too thick when you add it as you are going to beat it more)
