Non stick pans-metal utensils

Thread Starter: Bijou-    Started: Sun 23 May 2004    Replies: 5

I am going to be treated to a new pan by my other half this afternoon. I want a non-stick frying pan that you can use metal utensils with without it scratching. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

qvc cook's essentials are brill and have a lifetime warrenty on their non stick and yes you can use metal utensils. They even sell them to go with the pans. You also can put them in the oven up to 180 degrees. I have had mine for about 2 years now.

I work in a cookshop and Keith is spot on-SKK pans are non-stick but can be used with metal utensils. You'll have to pay for them but they do the business.

Goddess Delia swears by the German made SKK pots, pans & frying pans. They're not cheap, but if they're as good as she says they are, then they'll be worth second mortgageing the house for!!! If you want to check them out, click on to the Cucina Direct link on this site & type in SKK in the quick search thingy!!
