Sorry andycolombini, but i adore these guys. I find them interestng and they are honest with each other. It's good to see that they donot agree on everything. Giorgio, he is so cool and adores children, a great guy in my book.

I agree with most of you guys. I watched the first programme for about 10 minutes, whilst I was cooking and I have to admit it made me scream and I turned to another channel. Just not funny, or interesting.. sorry
Whilst I'm here, I might as well mention anothe show. .. Tony and Giorgio.. I am Italian and I cook a lot, but the banter between them is absolutely infuriating.. am I alone here ?
Anybody want some Italian pasta recipes just give me a call Ciao xx

Thanx for these TerryDox. Danny does have a strange accent - it's nothing like any of the Cambs ones I've heard before.

I have to agree with MaryJane that it's good to see something new, and while I do quite like the cooking, the whole programme comes across to me as slightly amatuerish. M. Boome sure can cook, but I just wonder why his sidekick is there......to add "totty" value maybe? It certainly isn't musical talent - I'm surprised the cream doesn't curdle.
By the way, does anybody know which part of the UK Danny Boome originates from? I just can't place his accent. Birmingham or the Black Country maybe..........

This show is billed as a 'Food and Travel' show, so we can't expect such detail in the recipes (which can be found on this site). I've got to begrudgingly admit to being Canadian (although that seems like a lifetime ago after 10 years in the UK and living in Spain now) so I can see where this show is coming from. UK Food have just bought it, it is Canadian produced - and very typical of a Canadian production (it's the learning curve of tv - and the good people go to the US as soon as they can). The singing is atrocious - and far too frequent. Again, that's Canadian.
My (British) husband won't have it on within earshot.
It makes me smile and I too am happy for a new series. Nuff said.

Caught this show a few times but it always makes me cringe and I have to change the channel. Too many bad jokes, too much trite music and not enough cooking. Some of the dishes look interesting but they whizz through them too fast.

It's nice to see something new instead of so many repeats. Well done UK Food!

Caught the show for the first time today ... but was very impressed by young mister Boome! Will certainly be watching again.

I even watched the repeat showing yesterday Georgie!!! I must admit the woman's rather limited musicality did grate on me the second time around!!! I just pressed the mute button anytime I saw her armed with her guitar!!!! :-)

Whoa, careful there Keith! Don't want to be doing yourself a mischief! Keep that blood pressure down!! And as to whether he would be giving a certain chef a run for his money.... mmmmm... not sure about that one....

Who cares about the woman when you have the drop dead gorgeous Danny Boome?!!! THE new Sex God of UKTVFood!!! Watch out James, Ross, Mr. Hollywood et al, there's a new guy on the block & he's well fit! ;-)

The food looks wonderful but does that woman have to sing! ( or shout more like it)

Yes, it could be a lot better. In my homeland Canada's defence, there is great produce, and some amazing chefs from all over the world from east to west coast (go to Vancouver for some of the best chinese, japanese and fusion chefs).
