Soup

Thread Starter: HCB    Started: Wed 21 Apr 2004    Replies: 2

I'm looking for some good soup recipes and wondered if anyone had any that they know work well? I love soup but tinned or even the so called 'fresh' soups in the supermarkets aren't the same or as good as homemade. However, I only have a reportoire of 2 and would like to try some others. Pretty much any veg, except peas, and meat are OK but no fish though!

Thanks

Helen

I'm afraid that when it comes to making soup, I just look in the fridge, freezer and cupboards to see what I have, then chuck a few things in together. They never turn out the same twice (drives my daughter mad!)

But there are lots of soup recipes on this site, if you just type soup in the search bar and select recipes.

Hi there, soup is really easy to make, all you need to start with is onion, vegetable or chicken stock, (whichever you prefer) perhaps potato to thicken, you can then pretty much add anything you want and then blend it all up after cooking. It's a great way of using up leftovers.

Alternatively type soup at the top of the page and search recipes and you will get lots of recipes.
