Girdle

Yes, a girdle. No, not THAT sort, but I am nearing the stage of needing one to contain my ever expanding mid-section!!! No, a griddle stone. I bought one from the Aga shop in Machynlleth on Wednesday. I used it today to make my Welsh cakes on, & now I wonder what on earth I ever did without one!! It cooks them so evenly & I can get more on the griddle than I ever could in the cast iron frying pan I've used 'til now. I can't wait to make another batch now! My girth really will need a girdle soon to hold it all in!!!
