i am a very big coffee fan, and after seeing the episode of good food the other day, discussing coffee i decided id get my coffe maker out of the cupboard, and have a better coffee than the instant...
but im short of funds at the moment, and wondered is there any cheaper substitutes for paper coffee filters? and what types of coffee would u suggest?

You can buy cheap plungers in some supermarkets for £6-8. Filters are made to not taint the coffee flavour so suggest you don't skimp - they're only a few penced each
