One plastic bag inside the other gives a bit more strength, I assume ayou have a piping nozzle? Otherwise all you can do is snip off the end.
The greaseproof one is made by using a square of paper, fold in half to make a triangle, then bring the two ends to meet the centre point. If you fiddle the points together you get a nice tight cone for piping chocolate or icing.
Failing that Lakeland Limited sell an Icing kit with reusable nylon piping bag, and seven nozzles for £9.95 !!

Failing that fold a piece of greaseproof paper into a cone shape. I've iced many a cake using that idea, and many of the classic guides to culinary technique will advise the same. If you're piping potato don't make it too stiff to start with because it will dry out as you go and you'll burst the paper.

Hi Irene, try using a food/freezer bag. Snip one of the corners off the bag to make the size of hole that you require. Hope this helps!
