The first fondu set I brought was from a charity shop for £2.50. Because I was not sure how much use it would get! But we do use it quite often especially cheese fondue with raw veggies. Its good fun to try diffrent combinations of cheese.

With Kamila on this one - we used to love using our fondue to fry meats (we used chicken and sausage as well) plus vegetables such as mushrooms, cubes of pepper, etc. I would then serve these with rice salad, salsas, new pots., etc. Mmmm, all this talk almost makes me want to go dust the thing off.....

The fondue I always do and the easiest one is a meat fondue. Heat oil and dip in to it cubed steak pieces and cook in that oil. Serve with french bread, salad and various dips.
