Hi deborah jean, i looked on sainsbury's online and its there. i would be very surprised if you didnt have it in the london store. its near the creme fresh and cream section in my local morrisons as well.

I live in London at can not find buttermilk in any of the supermarkets. Does anyone know where I can but it?

Hi Racheal, I've bought polenta recently from larger Tescos stores, Morrisons and Sainsburys. Smaller Tesco stores only seem to stock blocks of polenta.

I know what you mean about shops suddenly not stocking things, I had a nightmare finding buttermilk yet when I needed it, my favourite supermarkets stopped selling it! Fortunately it has returned to one of the supermarket shelves.

Good luck and don't give up! If you can't find it elsewhere then pester your local Asda store to put it back on the shelves.

Am I dreaming, or do I remember one of the TV chefs saying that you can replace polenta with sago - or something along those lines?

Hi Rachael, I was going to say Asda's, but you say they stoppped stocking it .
Have you got any Asian shops near you? I think that will be your best bet, I know 2 shops in Crawley that stock them. Good Luck
