Eric Lanlard, cakemaker to the stars

Eric Lanlard is a master patissier. Since arriving in the UK 19 years ago, this Frenchman has changed the face of British cakemaking, earning a reputation for inspirational cakes and an A-list clientele. Eric has created the cakes for the weddings of Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Caludia Schiffer and Elizabeth Hurley, and has twice been crowned Continental Patissier of the Year at the British Baking Awards.

Janice Gabriel joined Optomen in 2007 as Executive Producer, setting up Market Kitchen, Good Food Channel's flagship show.

Prior to this Janice produced TV Dinners at Ricochet and co-executive producted the food series Taste for Sky. She also developed, piloted and executive produced the primetime food series The Best.

After graduating from Leith’s School of Food and Wine, Sarah went on to become a food writer on BBC Good Food and Olive magazines. A keen baker, Sarah loves nothing more than whipping up wedding and celebration cakes for friends and brownies for village fetes.
